Your Apprenticeship with Us

At Café Reis you'll get to know all the exciting areas of a modern café – guest area, sales and kitchen. In our young, family team we'll prepare you optimally for the challenges of this profession, so that at the end of your apprenticeship all paths are open to you – including continuing with us. There's no time to be bored here!

Specialist Sales Assistant in Food Craft – Patisserie Specialisation

The café on the market square is your territory. You'll learn to sell patisserie and bakery products, prepare food and drinks, advise our guests and much more – in a lively café with terrace, dining room and counter.

Specialist Sales Assistant in Food Craft – Bakery Specialisation

At the Gilching-Süd business park, everything revolves around baking. With us you'll learn to expertly sell and present premium baked goods. You'll prepare snacks and filled rolls fresh and with care for our customers and learn all about quality and craft in the bakery trade.

What to expect

  • An apprenticeship tailored to your skills and interests in a young, family team
  • You work in the guest area, in sales and in the kitchen – you get to know the full range of a café business
  • You rotate through all areas of our operation and become an all-rounder, flexible wherever you're needed
  • Regular 5-day working week
  • Bonus payments

What you'll learn with us

  • How to advise guests optimally on everything – from breakfast to cake sales
  • How to expertly sell and present patisserie and bakery products
  • How to perfectly prepare and serve food and drinks
  • Confidently operate modern point-of-sale systems
  • Plan and carry out orders independently
  • Develop marketing activities and conduct sales conversations
  • Plan, organise and run events and reservations like birthday breakfasts
